Being a child is exciting, eventful and sometimes a bit exhausting. I consider my artwork as something to look at to relax and calm down.

A little about

Natascha Baumgärtner

Tascha creates fantastical scenes that have a dreamlike quality to them. Her compositions rich with stories, texture, shape and colour. She works primarily in digital mediums, crafting these scenes on her iPad.

Tascha grew up in a small village (with 200 people and around 400 cows) in the south of Germany. She tells us there there wasn't much to do there, so her childhood mainly consisted of strolling through nature with her friends and drawing pictures. Her father was also an art collector and her mother loved drawing, so grew up both painting a lot and surrounded by art.

Now, she's living in Berlin and illustrates under the pseudonym 'Trude is Krude'.
