The shapes that I use in my work are reminiscent of objects and things that I have made, used or seen around me. Children are so inquisitive and love to touch and interact with the world around them. I can imagine children playing with and building with the shapes in this piece.

Roughly 1 in 4 people in the United Kingdom are diagnosed with some sort of mental health issue each year, with 50% of mental health problems in adult life (excluding dementia) taking root before the age of 15.
To help fight this, we’ve partnered with the amazing Place2Be Art Room programme. They are a pioneer in early intervention, helping schools understand and identify mental health problems, and use art-making and discussion to support pupils with emotional difficulties.
A percentage of our profits go directly to the programme, helping children learn to cope with the world through art.
